• The Australasian Doctors Association of Queensland (AADA Inc) was incorporated in 1992. Members are qualified medical graduates comprising mainly Chinese general practitioners and specialists in various medical disciplines. Other Asian doctors as well as Australian doctors are welcomed as bona fide members; hence the name of “Australasian” was chosen. The association is affiliated with interstate Australian Chinese Medical Associations (including ACMA Auckland) under the auspices of Australian Council of Chinese Medical Association (ACCMA).

Cardiologist, Director of Coronary Care Unit The Prince Charles Hospital

Dr Niranjan Gaikwad is a Staff Interventional Cardiologist and Director of the Coronary Care Unit and Chest Pain Assessment Service at the Prince Charles Hospital. He is also a Senior Lecturer at the University of Queensland Medical School. He has numerous abstracts and publications to his name. Dr Gaikwad is interested in all aspects of general cardiology, primary prevention, and improving outcomes after ACS.
