Members are qualified medical graduates comprising mainly Chinese general practitioners and specialists in various medical disciplines. Other Asian doctors as well as Australian doctors are welcomed as bona fide members; hence the name of “Australasian” was chosen. The association is affiliated with interstate Australian Chinese Medical Associations (including ACMA Auckland) under the auspices of Australian Council of Chinese Medical Association (ACCMA).
